volssec03 Posted March 1, 2005 Share Posted March 1, 2005 i have a 2 door 97 civic hx right now. pretty much a piece. im looking a putting a new engine in there but i dont wanna spend a ton of money cuz im kinda short on funds. what would be the best motor for the right price. thanks. bebiracer Posted March 8, 2005 Share Posted March 8, 2005 i would try to find me a obd2 gsr 96 and up.. u can probably find a long block for 1500-2000 then just swap that in .. one of my boys ran a 13.5 stock everything from a gsr in his ex.. thats my advice..
