Factory Radio Not Functioning

First of all thanks for any help that I receive in advance!

I have a 2002 Odyssey EX. It has the stock CD player stereo.

It suddenly stopped functioning. It will not power on at all. It appears that the unit is still receiving power because when the headlights are on the backlight still comes on. The red flashing light for the theft deterrent continues to flash even when the vehicle is running. The battery has not been disconnected at all.

I checked the fuse and the fuse is still good. When I removed the fuse the theft light turned off. When I replaced the fuse the theft light came back on.

Any other ideas that may be helpful without having to take my dash apart?

Thanks!

did you ever disconnect the battery recently? How about the plug behind the stock unit?...ever disconnect that? If so, you will have to get a special code for the radio to work again and in order to get that code, you'll have to give the honda dealership your serial number of the radio.
