SonicAftermath
Hey, i'm havin a little problem with my 96 accord. Here's what it does It revs up to 2000 RPM then drops to 1250 RMP, then revs back up, and repeats that forever... as long as it's in park or nuetral. If i Put it in drive, it doesn't do it (as bad) also, while in Drive, it idles at 1050 RPM instead of 600-800 anyone else had this problem? phillyhonda800
sounds like the fast idle throttle. when defected or dirty it causes your engine to surge up and down. i once had this issue and it cost me about $140.00 for parts and labor at the dealership. good luck! Humphries
clean everything.. get some marvel mystery oil and clean out the gas tank and injectors and then pour a quart in there next time you change your oil. mine was doing that when i hadnt driven it in about 4 months. After i cleaned it out, it worked great.

wingzerotype
my '94 accord has a similar problem, but it only does that once in a while and it usually stops within 5 minutes. If it's not too serious of a problem maybe i'll just let it be...
CleanGSR
Wingzerotype - sounds like your problem is just your timing being off. Go somewhere and have your timing checked (or do it yourself if you can)
