Suggestions please!

I have a '95 Integra LS (automatic  ) and it has over 150k miles on it and it burns oil... so I am planning on having the engine completely rebuilt. After that I am not too sure about what I should focus on to improve the performance under the hood... I'm only 16 so I have a limited income, lol... so if you could help me with suggestions and where to find parts cheap I'd appreciate it, thanks.

It will be cheaper to buy a lower milage engine than doing a rebuild.

First thing I would do is change it to a five speed.

While you're at it throw in some high compression CP pistons and Rocket Motorsports camshafts

thanks for the advice... I decided not to go along the rebuild path, but maybe go LS/VTEC instead... I'm not sure about everything I need to get started but I have a decent idea...

am I getting a good deal?

what other stuff would (should) I need to buy for the project (suggestions on brands are always helpful too)?

how long would the engine last?

thanks in advance

Just get a used head. New isn't worth the money unless you are building a full race car where every tiny fraction of a horsepower matters.

New and used you won't notice a difference.

ITR cams = CTR cams
