ZC SWAP HELL sputtering start?

For reference: I am using a 1991 crx HF wire harness with this DOHC ZC if that matters.

Okay all, here is my situation...I have the DOHC ZC blacktop, it now starts because i bought a new 88-89 teg distributor and cam angle sensor and new wires and new plugs.

It starts for like 2 seconds really sputtery. The timing is off about 1-2 teeth, is that enough to make the motor not stay running?

What could be stopping my motor from fully running? We have fuel, we have spark...what is lacking here?

check the intake manifold and make sure that the wireharness is correctly installed...i had a DX crx and i went through 3 harnesses....like they say third times a charm...but yea its really hard to wire that up for a DX but for HF and SI it should be no problem..I'd say just check out the intake manifold and fix the timing
