Mercutio
If you're replacing the front 6x6's, all you need to do is grab and pull on the area that has the speaker holes in it. Comes right off. Squeeze a little. I just installed new 6x9s and 6x6s myself a couple months ago. Good luck.
..SSR..
The "grille" that covers the speaker. Reach under it and pull it off. Take the 3 screws holding the speaker out. Pull the speaker out and disconnect the wiring harness. Reverse to install.
Mercutio
I tried pulling off those grilles. I flat out didn't work.
..SSR..
Those are the easiest things to pull off a Civic.
Mercutio
Didn't work. I tried even pushing them out from the bottom with a screw driver. I looked at them once I took all the panels out and they had weird ass little clips that looked like they wouldn;t come out. Hell, when I had that rear upper panel out, I even tried pushing them out from behind and they still didn't come out.
..SSR..
You have to push down on the top of them then pull out.
Mercutio
Weird. Maybe I'll try it later. I still can't get that rear panel to go in all the way, im gonna have to take it all out again and try to make the rear things click in for good.
..SSR..
I'm talking about the door panels, not rear interior panels.
