Because of custom lights. Yeah, ok. Who told you that incorrect information?

Did the light come on before or after the intake install?

What year is your Accord?

Learn to post better information then that if your looking for someone to help you.

For the check engine light, you could disconnect the negative battery terminal. Don't do this if you have your factory radio without your radio code. If you have an aftermarket radio and you disconnect the battery you will have to reset all your settings.

If the check engine light comes back then you have a malfunction with your car.
