SPEEDFREAK0920 Posted April 10, 2004 Share Posted April 10, 2004 thanks for looking at this topic and responding. my question is, how much do you think i would be able to get for a 1996 3.5 rl fully loaded with 140,000 miles? it's pearl white with caramel leather interior that's in perfect cond. the fuel pump,water pump,all hoses, starter, alternator, and a few more things were replaced less than a month ago. the kelly blue book price is $7660.00. how much would you guys pay if you DID want the car? any help would be appreciated. thanks again Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
TLontheDL Posted April 10, 2004 Share Posted April 10, 2004 140k is a lot of miles for a 96, wouldn't you agree? see if its been in an accident. asking the owner or salesmen is no use b/c they'll lie to you. to find out, just simply run your fingers along the top edge of the hood(facing the windsheild) and see if its smooth. if its a rough feeling then its been in an accident. do the same for the doors and trunk lid. look under the hood for dried up oil stains. also look under the hood for the bolts. if it looks like the bolts along the frame were unscrewed or diff color, its most likely been in an accident. take it for a spin.. does it shift to the side quickly after you let go? (thats an alignment problem). as far as buying it for 7 grand, its an okay deal IF the car is in mint condition. good luck Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
