Dealership said it was sensor under dash. They changed it today, and it did not fix it (still got charged for part ). Now, they say it is the tach it self? Any body got any suggestions.. It does work every now and again, and it works fine when it does? I don't know if its the tach or not got a funny feeling its not.

Overdrive only acts up when the tach is not working and decides to start bouncing up and down. As long as it either doesn't work or decides to work normally for a while the overdrive does fine. Is there anyway to unhook the tach without affecting other things?
