gonesurfing04
Hey I was looking at engines and I came across the b16a3. Will that fit in a 91 civic hatch? and if so what kind of modifications will I have to do? And is that a American Motor or is that a JDM? any help would be great. Thanks
00ebpSi
not sure about the fittin but its JDM... i mean usdm, its off 94-95 del sol
BigBirdSucks
it's from the del Sol VTECs. the engine itself will work, but the tranny, distributor and some other parts won't.
..SSR..
Isn't the tranny the same as other B16's? Why haven't learned you can put a B series into any Civic?
BigBirdSucks
the tranny that comes with the b16a3 is hydro. he'd have to use a tranny from a '92-'93 integra GS-R or whatever comes with th e 1st gen b16a or convert.
JDM Jackass2
hasport makes a hydro cable conversion
BigBirdSucks
I know that, but that's money he could just spend on upgrades on the engine.
