My friend has some that only put out like 600 but it is the best sound there is. they ran him like about 600 bucks though so I'm in the process of finding cheaper ones right now. If the amp says that it will do 2,500watts but it has a 20amp fuse in it and it sells for only $149.95 some say that you will pay around a dollar a watt for a good amp. but that isn't always the case try to find somethin that is CEA 2006 certified. if it is it will do what it says good luck!
