mario620
I'm in the market for a either a automatic or manual. Are the dyno numbers higher or the same for this car with the auto or manual?
Xeryon
Same. Although I believe fuel economy numbers are better for the automatic. The manual is far more fun though.
mario620
ok thx for the response xeryon. my follow up question, how long does a typical Honda clutch last before it needs replacement.
Xeryon
Depends heavily on your driving. Not in how hard you push it but in your style of shifting. My last 3 civics were all purchased with 100K+ miles with their stock clutches and run to over 200k+ with the same clutch. A 2014 is going to be almost nothing like my 1990's vintage civics though. I would have no reason to suspect you would get anything less than 100k out of a clutch with proper shifting techniques.
