I have a 01 civic Lx and the gage lights don't work or the fuel gage. Put two different clusters and still didn't have a fuel gage working and then as soon as you start the car smoke rolled out and burnt two other clusters. Now we have service and electrical manuals for the car and have checked grounds under the seat and a couple under the heater controls and everything seems ok. Please help

You need to get out your multimeter and test the leads on the pigtails. I have no clue what you need to look for but if the gauges are burning up that quickly my guess is that it won't be hard to find. Once you know which lead is giving you problems you can hopefully trace it back to find the problem. Or at the very least cut the lead and have all but one of your gauges working right so you can at least drive your car in the meantime.
