Craig Harding
I have a 1992 Honda Prelude Si and it just recently stripped timing belt :( and now i'm facing redoing the H23a1 in it or replacing the whole motor or the head. I know if i stick with the H23a1 i'll need to do a complete rebuild just cause it would make me feel better about it. i was just wondering what everyone thought would be the best route for power. i do plan to boost it (turbo) but it's alittle while in the future unless its in my budget when i go to rebuild it. Thanks
James Matteu
Just fix what you have and get back on the road. Get another motor and build it up for turbo, then swap it in.
Xeryon
imported low mile h23 equivalent motors are not too tough to find. poke around at your local speed shop or tuner garage and they can point you to a local vendor or check out http://www.hmotorsonline.com/
