Darthwilky Posted July 11, 2012 Share Posted July 11, 2012 I have a 1993 Honda civic. I am trying to piece back together. I got this car in on a trade I have always wanted this year of a civic. I have fixed a lot on this car but now I am stumped. When the car gets to running temp the check engine light comes on and it boggs down. It will idle between 100 to 200 Rpm. Also runs very rich. I can not pull the check engine code because when you turn off the car the engine light resets. I have cleaned fuel injectors, replaced map sensor, tps, checked pcv, replaced fuel filter, replaced thermostat and looked for vacuum leaks. Please help I am at a lost. Xeryon Posted July 11, 2012 Share Posted July 11, 2012 From your symptoms I would guess an O2 sensor or the catalytic convertor is clogged or both. Try disconnecting the O2 sensor and see if there is any change in operation. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
