nhersh81 Posted December 14, 2011 Share Posted December 14, 2011 Hi All, My battery died the other evening and when I recharged it, the stereo was no longer working. I know in my model of Accord (1997 Honda Accord EX) that when the battery dies or becomes disconnected for any reason, the stereo has a security system that shuts it down. My problem is that I bought this car used and do not have the card which has the stereo system serial number on it. Also, the stereo which is installed now is not the original Honda stereo. I installed a new deck when I bought the car. Do you all know what I should do to get the stereo working again? Any help or advice would be really appreciated. Thanks, and have a good one!
