HEYitsBABYG
ok so i bought a 91 civic dx hatch as my first project car.The engine that came with the car was just completely DONE.So i got it taken out and put in a 95 civic non vtec STOCK engine. My question is, since its a 95 engine and my car is a 91 civic do i need to change everything?Like my starter ignition etc?because my car has been acting reallly funny.it pops once in a while and sometimes it wont start.i can hear the starter click but it wont turn over.im assuming its the starter solenoid but i havent got it checked yet.Anyways if someone can tell me if i need to get new parts since i put in a diffrent engine i would realllyyy appriciate it! Raley
But the car was running after swap? If so, its just a starter.

Raley
engine parts need to be 92-95 civic dx, while other parts need to be 91 civic (like interior parts) now tranny, i dunno what one you are using, or how the swap was done for wiring/ecu.
