MJBBMANO Posted October 28, 2010 Share Posted October 28, 2010 I took my honda civic ex 1997 in for an oil change t the honda dealer and was told I had an oil leak. Mechanics will normally make a note that there is an oil leak but won't go digging without permission. Dealer techs are paid flat rate, that means they get paid a specific amount of time to do an oil change.
