REDBULLx69
im wanting to remove the stock spoiler off of my 05 civic lx...but i got two problems. first problem...the wire for the brake light on the spoiler does not disconnect so im guessing ill have to cut it...would that effect anything? because the wire goes into the right brake light on the trunk second problem...holes in the trunk is ther an easy way i could cover or fill those myself or would it be best to take it to an autobody shop to have them filled? airjordan223
It shouldn't effect anything if you cut the wire. Just make sure you seal the ends off so they don't come in contact with anything or each other. As for the holes, what color car do you have? If it's dark you can fill it yourself and it won't show too much, but you will still be able to see them.
SpeedDemon
Cut the wire cover the holes with a sheet of fiber glass and glazing. Then paint. Problem solved
REDBULLx69
car is silver...but ive never done any body work like filling holes so i might just have it done at the shop. any ideas on how much that would cost? its got four holes

adamEj6
dont fill them with fiberglass or anything besides welding them shut. have a body shop do it if you dont know what youre doing.
