HondaForum authorities have been informed of this situation and your false claim to be the owner of Car Shows Gone Wild. False statements and arguements can make our business look bad, and our legal team has been advised, HondaForums.com will work with us in anyway possible to obtain your IP address stamp, with your ISP connection data on it and find out where you are. Wings West and HP Racing are in discussion with us right now to sponsor Car Shows Gone Wild so we can expand and become a company that has a name in the mod world. To civic93ex: Your comments about the Car Shows Gone Wild web site are uncalled for. the layout was not made with a cut and paste program. Car Shows Gone Wild layout was contsructed by various pictures and Adobe Photoshop, the sides, text, and header graphics were made by me with Adobe Photoshop and Paint Shop Pro. I'm almost 100% positive he's in your defense. he was just making a sarcastic comment towards tyker99 about what I said. CarShowsGoneWild Posted August 10, 2003 Author Share Posted August 10, 2003 If you pose as someone and you blatantly make an ass of yourself when including a business, can not only harm that businesses, business but it can be rather bothersome, and then giving out a home address in doing so is illegal......I'm not sure what law that falls under, but remember that kid in California that was on the news for gaining control of the Microsoft.com by posing himself as bill gates and gave the woman his address and social and what not? its the same principal, just with different variables. either way, meant with malicious intent is illegal which, what was said constitutes as malicious intent. lol this whole forum board thing is kinda fun. I've read and read and read through all the posts. it blows me away how competitive and argumentive everyone is, I suppose I'm guilty of it now, myself. optional187 Posted August 10, 2003 Share Posted August 10, 2003 have a admin or mod delete the post with the home address in it...actually, have them delete all the posts the guy ever made. i think its a little harsh to be sueing this guy, i mean...he can't kill a business that many people havn't even heard of. i do agree however that i would be pissed off aswell if someone did this to me, and then i'd probably want to do everything i could to get back at them. but court is a stressful and expensive thing to go though...trust me, i'm doing it right now and its no fun. get the guys ip, have your lawyer send them a threatening letter, and that should be the end of it.
