birdmanxxl Posted June 26, 2009 Share Posted June 26, 2009 I have a 99 civic with a all factory d16y8 when you give it gas it has no power and bogs slowly climes back up but still no power we checked the timing put a new fuel filter but it doesn't miss just no power i did a check at autozone and the computer said nothings wrong Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Silver Bullet Racing Posted July 29, 2009 Share Posted July 29, 2009 Check the Vtec solenoid becuase sometimes when they go bad or they can't get the oild pressure to activate becuase of gunk. A buddy of mines car did that and it had oil gunk built up at the Vtec solenoid and couldn't kick Vtec in. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
