alex37211
that's def a good deal. I've seen a3 swaps around $1k-$1200 @ the cheapest. I sold an a3 swap for $2k. Kinda got lucky. There is some extra work involved in a k-swap. It would be the same as doing it in a 92-95 civic or 94-01 teg if that helps with finding info. With the mount kits available, I don't believe you gotta cut or weld anything but I could be wrong. I know you have to fasten the shifter cable box under your car. I don't know if there are bolt on adaptors yet.
cranny
not that i didnt like it , just not the right place for it , and if you want answers your better off starting your own thread instead of burying your question in a 23 page thread , lol. there is lots of info on this in alot of different places. not a cheap swap at all. youl need the engine/tranny , and full engine/charge wiring harness for K series. the axles are no good to you. your better off buying everything you need in a package from hasport , like axles , mounts , conversion harness , etc. and youl still need shifter box and cables from an rsx. karcepts shifter adapter kit. Hondata Kpro. youl need an aftermarket fuel rail in order to run a K series in any civic 00-down(this includes you). you would not want to try and do this swap yourself if your not WELL versed in hondas or K series in general. or swaps for that matter. hessey0788
enough said then i probably wont consider doing it then ill stick with throwing in the b series i already have but do you think i should buy the motor for 550 with the ecu and be able to make a profit from it thanks
Kastigir
If you are truly getting a complete swap for $550, then yes you will make a profit off of reselling it.
