RyanCarter20
b16a2 OBD1 is what were having the problem with. Vtec isn't kicking in at all. I've read through alot of different forums of people having the same problem and I got a few idea's. Seems the most common problems are something to do with oil pressure or faulty wiring. I'm asking for a buddy of mine, he doesn't have internet and I know this is the place to get the best answers so here I am. If you could tell me what the first thing that pops in your head when I say VTEC IS NOT WORKING. I would appreciate it...

Kastigir
Check the screen in or near the VTEC solenoid. Sometimes it gets clogged giving a low oil pressure condition. I believe it is inside the solenoid.
Zac's Civic
I believ it could be your ECU. I belive It would have to be an OBD2 ECU for the B16A2. Did you get it from the 2000 model Si?
