I finally got that stuck splug out finally and thought the problem with the car jerking while i was stopped so i changed the distributor cap and it helped even more

but now when i step on the gas the car slows down for a bout 3 to 4 seconds then jerks then finally regains normal speed or sometimes i can floor it and and the car wont move any quicker so i have to let off the gas in order for it to completely react

can this be something having to do with the fuel filter?

i dont know what else it can be any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Check your spark. I'm willing to bet something in your distributor is failing.
