Ihadtosellmymusclecar:( Posted July 22, 2003 Share Posted July 22, 2003 I'm don't know much about honda's, so this might be a dumb question to you guys... i have a 94 civic EX.....well, when i rev the engine with the airconditioner on to about 7 grand rpm's, it makes almost a blow off valve sound....but when i have the air off, it doesn't do it at all.... whats going on? and it only does it sometimes...... thanks.. optional187 Posted July 22, 2003 Share Posted July 22, 2003 my car doesn't do it. actually, i never have the air on...and if i do i'm not stupid enough to try to drive my car fast or rev it up really high when its on. however, my car does make a noise similar to a blow of valve noise. not the pssshhhh noise, but just the constand shhhhhhh when reving up through any lower gear...then when vtec engages the noise goes away.
