Bivic-sauce Posted September 18, 2008 Share Posted September 18, 2008 ok so i was just letting my car idle... and it died after like 1 min. or soo of nothing but idle.. it drops the idle down to like 300 rpm. then jumps back up.. after that it just dies.. did that like... idk how times but.. its anoyying.. any reason to this? CleanGSR Posted September 18, 2008 Share Posted September 18, 2008 Possibly the IACV (Idle Air Control Valve). Try cleaning the IACV and see if that fixes it....do some internet searches and you'll probably come accross instructions on cleaning the IACV.
