Sonny Black
okay, check how bad this day went lol. I changed the brake pads, the right rotor was lightly grooved and the left one was in good condition. but I let air in the brake lines and then I tried to brake and it wouldn't. so we went to autozone and asked and they told me that I had let air in the brake lines. they said, " let it bleed out, pump the brakes till it comes out and fill it up and do the same for the other side" does that sound about right? and its soo cool working on my car. I love it, but I hate it at the same time. only cause I don't know what I'm doing, but I'm learning. and I'm young, so its all good =]]]
CRG7
Yes, you're supposed to bleed the brakes after you change them. Your avatar is the same, or similar to jerrod's.

I haven't bled my brakes after the last 4 times I've done it. Also, if your rotor was grooved, I hope you replaced it.
Sonny Black
yeah, well i'm going to bleed all 4 brakes later on when i have spare time. and I bought a new rotor but can't seem to put it in. I took off all the caliper and the center nut but it won't slide off. am I suppose to take off the screws on the rotor out? I stipped one. =[
airjordan223
yeah those are a bitch to get out. try an impact screw driver, if that doesnt work, get the old torch out and heat them up. and if that doesnt work, well, youre going to have to drill it out
Sonny Black
I changed the rotor. thank god. and now I have to bleed my brakes cause I think there is air in them. and well, the back right brake bleeder is stripped so I can't bleed the brakes. any ideas now?
