civichatch201
so im putting a head gasket on my b18c and its got a metal one and i was wondering if i was suposed to put any kind of sealer on it. i called the dealer and one dude sais yes and one dude said no..? so i figured id ask on here. oh and on a good note i went to a local junkyard this weekend and found a wrecked civic hatch. so yopu know i took a look at it and it still had a set of the pro series eibach sway bars on it. i got both of them for 32$ and the dude left a cool snoop dawg cd under the drivers seat. MRH_FLCL_
i dont beleve you have to because its a metal gasket, just make sure you have the right tq spec on the head bolts..
chris_agu28
I would use some sealer just in case. I would personally do it.
Kastigir
If it's your typical graphite gasket, no sealer is needed.
