befor puting the belt on put the stock tming belt cover on jus 1-2 bolts hoding it to alighn an hold it turn the crank to TDC (TOP DEAD CENTER) an on the cover it should have timing marks (go by them) and same thing with the camshaft spin it till it matches up wyth the marks on the cover, after done did that apply the belt carfeully do the tensioning apply the rest of the belts on the crank put back the motor mount crank it up hoepfully ye got timing 1st try BOSSS!!!!~ good luck....

ok had a friend come over and he timed the car he works for honda in new milford ct... we got the car running and timed...but its sputtering...it idles low then it idles like it should...ne guesses?..edit.. ok the top raditor hose is warm but the bottom is ice cold..imma check the thermastat ne thing else i hsould check?

ya it runs fine...but its still sputtering...and it still not cycleing ..as like the coolant goes to the thermastat but dosent go past there..changed the theremastat...flushed the radiator, made sure all the hoses we ok...u guys think it could b the water pump..maybe thats y it isnt building pressure ?

ya thte last owner swap it for another d15b and it only has like 80k miles on it ..and my dad said wen we took apart the head that it was beat on cause of the valves were so beat on and worn so wegot new ones and re did the whole head...now im coming with all these problems lol
