nickysamm
I was browsing eBay and came across a piece of equipment (a steel plate with blades) which apparently goes into the intake pipe....the seller says it causes the air to turn like a 'mini tornado' creating more power something tells me this is another crappy item designed for someone to make a quick dollar but still I wanted to ask: do anyone of you think something like this increases 16% horsepower and reduces gas mileage?? Ben.
Till someone can PROVE to me that the air is STILL spiraling through every last one of the intake runners (on many different engines), I'm calling bullsh*t.
wannaBstuntin
It may help, but definitely not 16% hp. The point is to fill the intake to its full potential. Same reason intakes have bends in them - to condense the air.

SolMusic
surely it would restrict the flow of air, and lower the amount of power?
