NUMBER 1 STUNNER
if i add shocks and springs what will it do for my ride? what brand to go for?
airjordan223
usually when you go aftermarket, you will get lowering springs, which obviously lowers your car. when you get springs/shocks your ride will be a little stiffer but your handeling/cornering will be better, it also gets rid of your car bouncing up and down after hitting a bump theres a lot of companies to look into, eibach, tokico, skunk2, omni power, tein, ground control... do a search, theres a lot of info on here
CleanGSR
Like add a second set? You already have shocks and springs, so adding .....I"m confused are you wanting to upgrade? Better handling, lower center of gravity are two things from upgrading to stiffer shocks and springs. Replacing stock springs with new stock parts will probably increase ride quality, even out ride height, less bouncy (on a high mileage engine.) Brand.....OEM, Tokico, Koni, GC, Tein, Omnipower, etc....depends on what you want.
jdm_gsr_hatch
you should look into a coil over set up from tein. they ride nice and are adjustable. stay away from no name junk on ebay for $25. also dont forget that your camber is gonna be off so u should look into camber kits and adjustable control arms so u dont shread your tirres
Midnight civic
I'm alot into performance, so I would go for stiffer suspension over just lowering springs. Makes driving alot more fun.
