Miamishatchback02 Posted December 11, 2007 Posted December 11, 2007 Ok ima try to convert my 92 hatchback front to a 96 front so can anyone tell me if i have to do any modification to make the headlights fit? and does the fenders, hood and front bumper is direct bolt on or do i also have to do anything to them to make them fit?
adamEj6 Posted December 15, 2007 Posted December 15, 2007 i wouldnt reccomend doing that conversion but... you have to get all 96 sh!t including: - hood - fenders - headlights - bumper - radiator support it really doesnt look that good on th 92-95 civics though.
Prangy Posted December 15, 2007 Posted December 15, 2007 Hey adam do the fenders match up on the doors then?? or will he have to do somethign with that
IVhorsemenmotorsports Posted December 16, 2007 Posted December 16, 2007 Hey adam do the fenders match up on the doors then?? or will he have to do somethign with that my cuz did that swap to his car and what he did with the fenders was cut the 96 fenders in half and the 92 in half and welded them together to get a better fit and look. I would just stick with the 92 look, personally.
Joe W Posted December 16, 2007 Posted December 16, 2007 I agree stick with the 92, or take what it would cost for the conversion plus the money you could make off selling the 92 and buy a 96.
