any nissan altima is faster than any civic sohc given the fact that nissan comes with a stronger mottor dohc so i wouldnt trade it unless the nissan was automatic and the civic stick shift then yeah it would be worth it but if the nissan is stick and the civic too keep the nissan its a better mottor.

the nissan is a 96 w/206??? miles and its automatic the civic is stick with hardly any its a newly built motor and rebuilt trans

I wouldn't touch an Altima built before 2000. Terdz.

trade it then the civic can get to be faster than that altima just given the fact that its automatic and the civic stick that a big plus to be faster.
