never heard of that. what would it do?

a guy took me for a ride in his del sol si (with minor bolt on mods) that was quick. i noticed he was hitting vtec at lower rpms. he told me he hooked up his vtec silenoid oil pressure wire to his postive high beam wire. so when he turned on his high beams he was hitting vtec. i was wondering if anyone else has done this or is this a tall tail he's telling me

that sounds like the biggest load of crap ever. lowering the vtec engagement point wont get you any more power, it makes it worse. theres a reason honda set it at a certain rpms. highly modified cars are different though
