syvpunk Posted December 2, 2007 Share Posted December 2, 2007 i have a 99 civic lx 5 speed. when then engine is at idel there is a chattering sound, but when i push the clutch in the noise goes away. is there any way to get rid of the clutch chatter? Caspers_Civic Posted December 2, 2007 Share Posted December 2, 2007 Thats what it sounds like to me also, I had the same problem on my 2000 EX, just when you replace the clutch make sure that you grease the clutch fork or the bearing will start to chatter again.
