ducttape2334
so since you all hate lambo doors on del sols...and you kinda sold me on why too...i figured i would like to get a catback instead. I was looking at the Greedy Evo 2. it sounds nice and looks good as well. my only problem is its 600 dollar price tag. Anybody know where i can find one for like 400? and if not any other good catbacks for 400 bucks?
airjordan223
you wont find one for $400 unless its used. i got mine for $502 shipped.
ducttape2334
502 shipped is close enough where from?
airjordan223
i tried looking through my emails but i couldnt find it. what i did was just type it in on google, and checked them all. the reason it was so cheap is because they had free shipping. airjordan223
i did a search real quick and found a couple with free shipping for 519 and 517, but i think this is where i got mine from, it looks familiar hello
ducttape2334
cool. i was doing some looking and have found several websites that say it works for the vtec only is that true?
Hatch92
what kind of exhaust are you looking for? are you looking for a more subtle stock looking, or a straight through design. I'm waiting to order RS*r ExMag GTII but my car will be mostly a track car when i start building it again.
TS John
There's only one type of exhaust design for del sols, so it won't matter what model you have. I currently have a Skunk2 on my 93 Si that came off blackdelsol's old VTEC model. Fits no problem with not modification required.
ducttape2334
awesome thanks John. And i am looking for something that mainly just sounds good but does not kill my MPG either
TS John
I'd get a Tanabe Medallion Touring edition one if I could do it all over again. Everyone hails it as the quietest aftermarket exhaust out there for the del Sol.
Repsol
I'm still thinking the SP2 will sound sexy. That's what i'm sticking with when I get some moneys.
airjordan223
yeah the sp2 is a nice set-up, not a big as the evo2 and a little quieter
Repsol
on that website you posted. It's like $457 free shipping. Probably where I'll order it from.
airjordan223
yeah that site has really good prices plus the free shipping really helps
Repsol
It helps alot. I'm trying to find an Injen CAI for a decent price. But none showed up.
Ben.
I just crapcanned my AEM V1 CAI for an Injen SRI. I'm enjoying the sound it makes under WOT.
Repsol
Hmm, That's right, aren't SRI's have a deeper tone than the CAI's?
Ben.
Only because the piping is shorter. You're more apt to hear the inside of the engine when it's that short a peice of pipe. LOL.
Repsol
Time to buy a name-brand SRI then. AEM or Injen?
airjordan223
both are very similar but i say AEM

ducttape2334
that SP2 is very nice sounding...when i do this would you recommend also getting a high flow catalytic converter to just replace then?
Ben.
I'd eliminate the catalytic convertor unless we had emissions testing.
Repsol
Yeah, I'm going balls out this time. If it's not name brand, Not going on the car. And as for ragging on my wheels. >_> I got them 2 years ago when I had a crx. Never drove it, sold it. Got tires for it last year so, I was still with the Fast and the Furious.
