civic_crazy91 Posted August 20, 2007 Share Posted August 20, 2007 i am thinking of trading my D16A1 that needs to be rebuilt for a JDM D15B non v-tech that needs a head gasket. Xeryon Posted August 20, 2007 Share Posted August 20, 2007 no, someone is full of bs head gasket with proper tools and a good how-to only takes a few hours even for someone with limited experience and the gasket is not overly expensive. if the head is warped bad enough that you have lost compression and the car won't run- that is a little different, but if it is just a mildly leaking gasket you should be ok.
