Newbie exhaust question

Just a quickie ... axle back or cat back exhaust. Are those systems same for S /Si / Vtec versions of 1996 Del sol?

theres no difference in aftermarket sizing. all the piping is the same. as for stock, i would imagine there is some difference. but they all fit the same.

ok i have a question for the op and everyone else. whenever you guys bought your exhaust systems, did you have to specify what type of del sol you drive? do you ever look around at websites to see if they even have different models listed? well they dont. its just del sol. as for factory, i dont know. and i dont know what the op wants to know.

Well I'm absolutely sure he would need to specify for a header-back. On many of the sites I see them listed even cat-backs distinguish between the two. Observe:

i mean i dont understand why some companys specify the difference and some dont. maybe some make different sizes, maybe some dont. it is a good question though.

My guess is that anything after the cat is gonna be the same. It's prolly just a vestige left over from the classifications of engines, know what I mean?
