quapouh Posted June 20, 2007 Posted June 20, 2007 Just a quickie ... axle back or cat back exhaust. Are those systems same for S /Si / Vtec versions of 1996 Del sol? Thank You
quapouh Posted June 20, 2007 Author Posted June 20, 2007 Sol VTEC has bigger piping so no. but S and Si are the same basket / Vtec not ?
weefrenchsailor Posted June 20, 2007 Posted June 20, 2007 theres no difference in aftermarket sizing. all the piping is the same. as for stock, i would imagine there is some difference. but they all fit the same.
weefrenchsailor Posted June 20, 2007 Posted June 20, 2007 same size as in del sol vtech or si, not as in del sol vs supra
quapouh Posted June 21, 2007 Author Posted June 21, 2007 Well I see there as many opinions as posters.
weefrenchsailor Posted June 21, 2007 Posted June 21, 2007 thats funny because when i bought my exhaust i didnt have to specify a type
Repsol Posted June 21, 2007 Posted June 21, 2007 same size as in del sol vtech or si, not as in del sol vs supra I have a Vtech phone, when it rings...it get's Alot louder after the 5th ring.
weefrenchsailor Posted June 21, 2007 Posted June 21, 2007 you know, i heard those phones are great. thats why honda decided to use them on their engines. geeze people...common!
Ben. Posted June 22, 2007 Posted June 22, 2007 I have a Vtech phone, when it rings...it get's Alot louder after the 5th ring. rrrrrriiiiiiiiiIIIIIIIING
TS John Posted June 22, 2007 Posted June 22, 2007 I'm pretty sure that it's like you said here: but S and Si are the same basket / Vtec not ?
weefrenchsailor Posted June 22, 2007 Posted June 22, 2007 ok i have a question for the op and everyone else. whenever you guys bought your exhaust systems, did you have to specify what type of del sol you drive? do you ever look around at websites to see if they even have different models listed? well they dont. its just del sol. as for factory, i dont know. and i dont know what the op wants to know.
TS John Posted June 25, 2007 Posted June 25, 2007 Well I'm absolutely sure he would need to specify for a header-back. On many of the sites I see them listed even cat-backs distinguish between the two. Observe: http://www.autopartswarehouse.com/performa...mp;brandid=4120 Then again, many do not, so perhaps it doesn't matter: http://www.autopartswarehouse.com/performa...mp;brandid=4178
weefrenchsailor Posted June 26, 2007 Posted June 26, 2007 im just going off of stuff like this: http://inlinefour.com/tanhypmed.html http://www.kingmotorsports.com/category.aspx?cat=64 i mean i dont understand why some companys specify the difference and some dont. maybe some make different sizes, maybe some dont. it is a good question though.
TS John Posted June 27, 2007 Posted June 27, 2007 My guess is that anything after the cat is gonna be the same. It's prolly just a vestige left over from the classifications of engines, know what I mean?
