optional187
hmmm...well. my check engine light came on. hasn't gone off. just wondering what the deal is? it did it a day or two after i put on my aem intake...it drives normal and a few people that i know said that it happened to them too when they put on their intakes. is the o2 sensor just getting confused because i'm flowing more air in and a little more air out? VerkineX
If you would have reset the chip in your car when you put the intake in your engine would automatically be used to the intake whereas now it might take a while for it to agree, and you wont get as much hp as you might have, most people put alot of aftermarket parts at once then put a aftermarket chip on to reset the engine so it will be used to everything and you can get the max hp possible. JDM Jackass2
if you install an air intake correctly you arn't supposed to get any CEL lights. hell, when i install a whole different engine i don't get CELs. whatever, crap happens. reset your ECU by disconnecting the negative cable from the battery for 20 minutes.
