MattVerde17
Hey guys, I want to lower my car to just get rid of all fender gap. can I order some sleeves off ebay, and use my intrax springs and new kyb struts with them instead of using the spring that comes with the sleeves that is crap anyway?! thanks for any help
TS John
You can use whatever combination of struts/springs you want. I don't know anything about intrax but KYBs are too bad from what I hear.
MattVerde17
great, then I'll order some cheapo sleeves, throw away the springs that come with them and use my intrax with them...then use some good struts. So the only thing that I will use from the coilover sleeves is the perches that allow for lowering.
TS John
Somebody else verify that. I didn't know you planned on mixing stuff like that. I thought you were just going standard springs and struts. For coilovers there may be compatibility issues. I don't know since I just have struts and springs.
xxscaxx
no, you cant. if u do get cheap coilovers just use the springs they give you. diff spring rate/stiffness, spring, etc. just save and get some omnipowers, decent price and affordable for a good ride. Kegger
Sleeves since you already have new struts.
MattVerde17
Sleeves since you already have new struts. are those very bouncy like ebay crap, or do the spring rates match the vehicle? last question I promise

Kegger
They ride quite well because they are actually application specific, not universal.
