savierdcglobe Posted March 15, 2007 Share Posted March 15, 2007 my sunroof opens only halfway and it dosen't even shut itself back up without help from the outside. I'm thinking of replacing the damn sunroof with a glassroof similar to those on the 92-95 civics. Is it worth it to customize a new place of glass or buy a 92 glassroof from the junkyard and installing it? does anyone have any advice on how to install one of these glassroof? CRG7 Posted March 16, 2007 Share Posted March 16, 2007 92-95 civics didn't have glasstop options. they had sunroof/moonroofs. the jdm/edm 2nd gen crx had the glasstop option. it's an easy conversion if you have all of the parts, and can weld or have someone who can do it for you. mine took maybe an hour or two for the panels to be swapped (dx to glasstop). the parts are no longer in production though.
