leber008
ok, im gettin new wheels for my car but i havent decided on size. I want to go to a 17x7 from my stock 15x6. My dad is tellin me if i go too big ill lose power, how big is too big and will i lose power with 17s?
airjordan223
16s or 17s will be good. your acceleration may slow down a little bit because it has to move a bigger mass with a bigger wheel.
Ben.
17's will be a noticeable difference..especially if they're a heavier rim. My boy put 18"s on his hatch with a gsr swap that was built/setup for n/a dynoing almost 190fwtq.. it was STILL noticeable. of course, the bs stopped when he downgraded to 15's with some dr's ;)
Nancy
imo, i wouldnt go bigger than 16" if you still want a comfy ride. and the offset no higher than +50 or less then +42.
