imported dreams Posted November 17, 2006 Share Posted November 17, 2006 i can't get my tranny bolted back on my engine block i dont have an engine hoist...i tried a transmission jack but it would still get all tweaked...what makes matters worse my dad sripped out one of the engine bolts...i am frustrated...any ideas?? my dad says i need to use an engine hoist....any body got one that lives in vegas??? i miss my car!!!!!poor poor elaine :( Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

90Tegtyper Posted November 17, 2006 Share Posted November 17, 2006 well what car are you working on? and do you have the motor jacked up a lil bit also? i have replaced lots of trannys and every time i have only used two regular jacks one to hold the motor up and one under the tranny. just giggle it around it will eventually go in.
