really easy...there is a red/black/white/greeen wire..

red=power source (hook up to your red wiree on your deck)

black=ground(hook up to your black wire on your deck

white=dash light(hook up to orange wire on deck)

green=there should be a green wire on your distributor car wires. splice that and connect the remaining wire that comes with your tachometer to that....

Thank you everyone. Did everything correct but its still not picking

up the R.P.M. from my car. Does anyone know why. The brand of

the tech is Faze. My be I should just get my money back and get

a AutoMeter gauge what does everyone think. Hope you got answers.

If you really think you did everything right then return the tach and have the retailer replace it. The one you have could be bad. So if you have it replaced its free and easy to install because you know how to do it.

But make sure you know that everything is wired correctly first.

if you are gonna get the autmeter gauge...you are gonna have to cut some wires running out of the tach...it is gonna be 3 wires...not sure...

If you try and do it again and cant get it..

Consider getting a gauge out of an ex, its just plug and play and it works... Take the old one out, plug the new one in...

Thats what I did, really clean look and I dont have to risk getting it stolen..
