92ge Posted November 4, 2006 Share Posted November 4, 2006 okay...so i let my car run for like 20 min...and then drive it around the city...the heat does not work...it blows air...but cold...my temp. gauge is right in b/t the h/c...don't know what the problem is? cranny Posted November 4, 2006 Share Posted November 4, 2006 negative , id say you need a heater core perhaps. he said its blowing noob , hahaha. just cold hehe. if the car is not overheating and you have no heat , its most likely a heater core. that or the hot/cold control is broken. they get still and break if not lubed. look under the hood , coolant hoses that go into firewall , youl see a little valve with your hot/cold cable from the heater controls going to it. see if the little cable is busted off , and have someone watch it while you move the heater control back and forth from hot to cold. if it doesnt move , manually open it.
