But my break lamp light is on, on my 99 accord coupe and i was just wondering all the possible reasons this could be and what shouold i do for it? EH6TunerDaniel Posted October 28, 2006 Share Posted October 28, 2006 Sounds like your pedal is not making full contact with the brake light switch, causing the lights to stay on. Either get under there and adjust the little switch, you just unscrew a nut and twist the whole switch, or the switch has gone bad and you need a new one. Its an easy fix.
