TS John Posted October 4, 2006 Share Posted October 4, 2006 Yeah, it took me almost a month to get tags and crap sorted out. I had to get the title signed over officially. Then to get tags (even temporary ones) I needed a receipt of sale and a lien release even though the car was fully paid off years before I bought it. Then I had 30 days to get it inspected and made street legal with temps and had to get the real tags. It was the most painful process I could have devised for new car owners.
