ObieTrice
Hi I was wondering if you are trying to install a new head unit in your car and u have a wiring harness, how do u connect the wiring harness plug leading to the car, to the wiring coming out of the headunit. Another words can you connect speaker wire to speaker wire, like by twisting them together or somethin? Also where would the new wiring harness attatch to in the car. There was no place that this came out in disconnecting the old car. Please any help would be appreciated im trying to install this in my sons new honda civic before he gets home from vacation. Thanks a lot for your help.
Kastigir
The wiring harness you buy with your head unit, connects to all of the wires coming out of your stereo. From there it's plug n play with the harness in the car. Please, please, please DO NOT cut the harness off the car.
cranny
just to clear it up , the harness you need to conect the deck to the cars factory harness does not come with the deck. must be bought seperately. than youl twist the wires together from the head unit to this conversion harness , and plug the coversion harness into the cars factory deck plug. What he said. Make sure you pull a little of the plastic coating off of the wires before you twist them together lol, and put some electrical tape on them afterwards. HONDA CRX 88 SI
well anything dealing with the stereo is a pieace of cake man. nothing to complicated. just put the rear speaker cables to the head unit rear cables. and the front speaker cables to the head units front speaker cables. best way to figure this out is with a little double AA battery. just start testing cables man ull find them.
