(The Accord is on the left, the Torneo on the right) In 2000, the Euro-R nameplate was introduced to Japan on the Accord/Torneo lines. Basically Honda Japan took the European Accord Type-R and marketed it as the Accord/Torneo Euro-R. That model lasted till 2003. 2003-Current Accord Euro-R 2003 saw the introduction of the 7th generation Accord and the introduction of a whole new Euro-R.
