k4rts
i dont know if its the pedal or not, but when the engine is cold, the gas pedal is "smooth". when it heats up, the gas pedal gets harder to push, and when it finallly grabs..the engine revs to like 4000 rpm then it makes it look like i dont know how to drive the manual lol. whats wrong here
CRXSSIVE
pop the hood & inspec the throttle cable, spray some wd40 on the spring that the cable hooks onto which is located on the intake manifold it could possibly be sticking.
cranny
id say its the throttle body itself . fluid film all the moving parts.

xalexjx@yahoo.com
try turning the pivot right where the cable attaches to the throttle body...find out if its the cable or throt body..
Bahamacivictuner
Nothing is scarier than having your gas pedal jamming @ fullthrottle, goin 70 down a 25mph street, with your girlfriend in the car and you have only had the car for 3 days. The Idiots @ the dealer pulled the carpet behind the accel, and the pedal got caught behind it :S
cranny
pull the intake off the engine visually inspect the butterfly valve inside the throttlw body is it dirty oily , try some intake manifold/throttle body cleaner.
